Cancer and Genetics

Only 5-10% of cancer is based on inherited genes   The other 90-95% of cancer is attributable to random mutations (bad luck) or lifestyle factors.  Why does it seem that cancer runs in families more than 5-10% would suggest? Researchers postulate that lifestyle factors run in families as well and lead to cancer risk.
